What is it? A 7-days VC brightening treatment, in a new form of packaging, can be mixed with moisturizer.
Educational information about VC products, from blog Into the gloss—What Are Vitamin C’s Benefits For Skin? If you are interested or feel confused about VC products, it sure helps.
What’s to expect? According to Clinique’s website, we could expect 1,de-aging 2,visibly rejuvenate skin from the outside, 3, simple to use
First of all, it’s not that simple to use compare to other VC products in the market. You have to mix it before first use and shake it before every use.
I bought mine in Nordstrom.: Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10% 7 days supply $19.5, the full size is a 4 weeks supply for $76.5 with 4 tubes.
I received my package on Feb 21,2017, and started using it the same day.I was aware of it was a One-week supply treatment, but I wasn’t aware of that I have to use it up in 7 days.
It was already oxidized within 7 days, the color started to change on 6th day, the picture was took on 7th day. It leaked in cap. 9 days and nights use, sometime only once a day I finally finished it.
1, It does brighten whole complexion(which VC product doesn’t), but rarely do anything to Hyperpigmentation, any red marks related to acne, or acne scars. If you are looking for products can lighten acne marks, I won’t recommend this one.
2, I have to shake and count 15 before every use, not every convenient. And even after shaking, sometimes I can still feel the powder in it. It has a primer/silicone texture.
3, The tube packaging is meant to keep all ingredients at the best condition in order to bring the best results. I(have to) use it and only use it for 9 days, yet didn’t see any big improvement. With 9 days efforts, a lot “normal” packaged products would have better result. I won’t repurchase it. For a whole set for $76.5, I’d rather stay with my Drunk Elephant C-Firma $80, at least I don’t have to shake it…
4, The package is new,It was also fun to use, I just don’t think it’s any special, certainly don’t think it’s worth the price. Any anti-aging benefit have to be seen in long term use. It was designed for weekly treatment, I wonder how could it do anything on de-aging?
